Working for Core Industries, I created and managed content for a multi-channel campaign spanning social platforms, website, digital display ads, email, and SMS to launch and establish the "Nelson Mandela International Day" as a global day of activism. This groundbreaking work achieved massive global recognition and measurable engagement, including the registration of more than 50,000 volunteers in less than a week, resulting in 123,875 activism minutes pledged, and 100,000 unique website visitors within two months. The campaign also secured the #1 Google PageRank for "Mandela Day" in three months, a high-profile tweet from Oprah, and ultimately secured the United Nations General Assembly declaration of July 18th as "Nelson Mandela International Day." The work was honored with multiple industry awards, including an Effie, a Webby Award, Creativity Awards, and Davey Awards.
